Narsingdi, Nov. 21 -- Over 100 people were injured in Narsingdi as a 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolted Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh on Friday morning.

Most of the injured sustained injuries while rushing out of their homes, said witnesses,

The injured are receiving treatment at Narsingdi Sadar Hospital, said Farida Parvin, Resident Medical Officer of the hospital.

Two of the patients have been referred to Dhaka for advanced treatment, she added.
