Dhaka, June 23 -- Bangladesh and Georgia on Sunday discussed the promotion of trade and investment between the two countries and ways to further strengthen the existing relations by expanding areas of cooperation for mutual benefits.

The two countries focused on pharmaceuticals, readymade garments (RMG), agricultural products and ceramics; and agreed to enhance cooperation in the agriculture sector.

The issues were discussed when Georgian Ambassador to Bangladesh with residence in New Delhi Archil Dzuliashvili met Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen at the latter's office.
