Dhaka, May 3 -- The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced a decrease of good quality 22-carat gold price by Tk 3570 per bhori from Sunday.
The Bajus has fixed the 22-carat gold price per bhori (11.664 grams) at Tk1,68,976. The jewelers' association in an announcement on Saturday stated that the new price will effect from Sunday.
Masudur Rahman, Chairman of BAJUS's Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee, on Saturday (May 3), in a notification, informed this.
The price of pure gold (pure gold) has decreased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation, Bajus said.
