, Jan. 19 -- Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday filed a case against four employees of Bangladesh Forest Research Institute (BFRI) and four police officials for obtaining government jobs using fake academic certificates and embezzling public funds.
The case was lodged with the ACC's Chattogram office, said Assistant Director Sayeed Mohammad Imran Hossain.
The accused BFRI employees are driver Md Khaled Mosharraf Riaz, sweeper Swapan Sarkar, and guards Mohammad Farid Ahmed and Md Alamgir Hossain.
They allegedly secured government jobs by submitting forged certificates claiming completion of class VIII.
