Narayanganj, March 23 -- Three members of a family sustained burn injuries in a fire caused by an explosion due to gas leakage at a house in Fatullah of Narayanganj district early Sunday.

The injured were identified as Harun-or-Rashid, 60, Runa Akter, 40 and Meem, 17.

The fire broke out at the house at Talla around 4am when someone tried to light the gas oven of the house, leaving three people injured, said deputy assistant director of Narayanganj Fire Service Civil and Defence, Abdullah Al Arefin.
