Dhaka, June 3 -- Three members of a family were killed and three others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Basail upazila of Tangail on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as Amzad Mandal, 65, his sons Ratul Mandal, 26, and Atul Mandal, 13, of Kamarchar area of Sherpur district.

Injured Amzad's wife and two others have been undergoing treatment at Tangail Sadar Hospital.
