Dhaka, June 29 -- Three members of a family, who fell sick this morning at a hotel in Dhaka's Moghbazar area,was later declared dead after being taken to hospital.

The deceased were identified as Monir Hossain, an expatriate worker, his wife Swapna and their son Arafat Hossain Nayeem.

Officer in charge of Ramna police station Gulam Faruque said Monir along with his family members came to Dhaka from his village home Ramgonj upazila in Laxnipur district on Saturday afternoon for medical consultations. They tried to get Prof Dr Din Muhammad's appointment in his Eskaton Road Hospital, he said quoting relatives of the victims.
