, March 12 -- A Dhaka court on Wednesday convicted three men and sentenced them to life term in jail in a case filed over the gang-rape of a 13-year-old girl in Kamrangirchar area of the capital.

Dhaka Woman and Child Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge Munshi Md Mashier Rahman handed down the punishment.

The lifers are-Mohon, son of Jamal Uddin of Dhunat upazila of Bogura district, Sabbir, son of Mizan of Belkuchi upazila of Sirajganj district and Russel, son of Abul Kalam of Shariatpur district.
