, Feb. 11 -- Thirteen policemen, including two sub-inspectors, of Companyganj Police Station have been closed to the district police lines on charge of different irregularities and corruption, an official said on Tuesday.

The punitive action was taken as per the order of Additional Superintendent of Sylhet Police Md Russelur Rahman on Monday, Mahbubur Rahman, superintendent of Sylhet Police said.

Two assistant sub-inspectors and nine constables were among those closed in the police lines.
