Dhaka, March 20 -- The Aviation and Tourism Journalists' Forum of Bangladesh (ATJFB) has honoured ten women with the ATJFB Aviator Women's Icon Award for their contributions to Bangladesh's aviation industry.

ATJFB, an association of aviation and tourism journalists, organised the award ceremony at the Samson H Chowdhury Auditorium of Dhaka Club on Thursday.

Farida Akhter, adviser to the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, and Nasrin Jahan, secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, presented the awards to the winners.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines recognised several of its staff members for their outstanding contributions.
