Feni, May 11 -- Patrols on the Feni border have been stepped up by the members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) following the Indian Border Security Force's (BSF) push-in on the border.
Intelligence activities have also been increased, according to the BGB.
The battle between India and Pakistan caused worry and fear among the people living in the 126-kilometer border area of Feni district.
However, the residents of the border area have seen some relief as a result of the intensified intelligence efforts and the bolstering of BGB patrols.
