Dhaka, March 3 -- Appreciating the dedicated services of Anjuman Mufidul Islam for humanity, Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Monday said it is a big opportunity for him to come and know this organisation very well that he used to hear about from his childhood.

"It's a big opportunity for me. I truly feel this. Today, I have seen the institution in my own eyes," he said, adding that it is a unique institution.

No alternative to strong Bangladesh-India ties: Dr Yunus

Dr Yunus said they feel proud of having such an organisation in Bangladesh and hoped that its programmes will further expand.

He also mentioned the highly commendable role it played during COVID-19.
