India, Jan. 9 -- PORTLAND, Oregon, January 9 - Federal agents shot and wounded two people in Portland on Thursday afternoon, local police confirmed, marking a second major use of force by federal officers in as many days following a separate fatal shooting in Minnesota.

On Thursday afternoon, U.S. federal agents shot two individuals in Portland. The Portland Police Bureau confirmed the shooting but stated its officers were not involved. The two wounded people were transported to a hospital; their current medical conditions remain unknown at the moment.
