Samba, July 26 -- In a significant success against cross-border narco-terrorism, Jammu and Kashmir Police recovered 500 grams of heroin from Chillyari village near the Indo-Pakistan International Border in Samba district late last night.

The heroin was found packed in a distinct yellow packet with a hook attached, suggesting that the consignment was air-dropped using a drone from across the border. The recovery site is located approximately four kilometres inside Indian territory, raising serious security concerns.
