SHIMLA, March 7 -- HIMACHAL Pradesh Fisheries Minister Virendra Kanwar has said that the information appearing in various sections of media that consuming fish and its related products could spread corona virus was misleading.
He said that this false propaganda could impact the sale of fish and its related products, which in turn could deal a blow to the farmers earning livelihood from fisheries industry.
No scientific research had been published so far that eating fish or its products spreads the virus, he said.The Fisheries Minister said that an advisory had been received in this direction from Union Ministry of Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries, which has denied reports that corona virus could spread from the fish.
