Nigeria, Nov. 26 -- After months of postponements, the Port Harcourt refinery has commenced fuel production.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited confirmed this on Tuesday November 26.

According to the NNPCL spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, the loading of trucks would start today.

"Port Harcourt Refinery begins production. Truck loading starts today, Tuesday," Soneye stated.
