Dhaka, Sept. 13 -- The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has reinstated acclaimed actress and social activist Jaya Ahsan as its Goodwill Ambassador for Bangladesh, marking her third consecutive term in the role since first being appointed in 2022.

She will serve in this voluntary role for the next one year.As Goodwill Ambassador, Jaya will champion the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), raising awareness and mobilising support on issues such as poverty reduction, gender equality, climate action, and inclusive governance, reports UNB.
