Sylhet Bureau, April 6 -- Around 1,000 people have been made accused over the attack on Chhatak police station in Sunamganj allegedly by the activists of Hefazat-e-Islam.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Anwar Mia lodged the case on Sunday citing names of 94 people and unnamed 800 to 900 others, confirmed the police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Nazim Uddin.
The law enforcers apprehended 10 more people on Sunday night in connection with the attack, he said.
Earlier, police detained nine suspects on Saturday night and they have been shown arrested in the case, the OC said, adding that a court in Sunamganj sent them to jail on Sunday.
