Dhaka, Dec. 15 -- A superb five-wicket haul by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza powered Gemcon Khulna to storm into the final of the Bangabandhu T20 Cup Cricket defeating Gazi Group Chattogram by 47 runs in their first Qualifier match at the flood-lit Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city's Mirpur on Monday.
Mashrafe finished his
spell as 4-0-35-5. He was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Put into bat first, Gemcon Khulna piled up a mammoth total of 210 for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and then bundled out Chattogram for 163 off 19.4 overs.
