Dhaka, June 22 -- Dhaka Medical College (DMC) has been declared closed for an indefinite period starting Sunday (June 22). In an official notice signed by Principal Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Alam, the authorities announced the suspension of all academic activities for MBBS students until further notice.

The decision was made during an emergency meeting of the college's Academic Council held on Saturday, June 21. Students have been instructed to vacate their dormitories by 12:00 PM on Sunday.

However, students currently participating in the professional MBBS examinations, along with foreign students, will be exempted from the closure and allowed to remain on the campus.
