Dhaka, March 18 -- The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) stationed at the Mymensingh and Sherpur districts along the Bangladesh-India border has seized smuggled goods worth a staggering 15 Crore 29 Lakh 96 Thousand Taka over the last two and a half months. The operation targeted Indian contraband goods, vehicles, and narcotics.According to a press release sent by the commanding officer of Mymensingh Battalion (39 BGB), Mohammad Sanbir Hasan Majumder, the operation, conducted in the Mymensingh and Sherpur border areas, resulted in the confiscation of various illicit items, including a large quantity of food products, clothing, and drugs.
