Dhaka, May 21 -- Forest guards are conducting a combing operation in the Eastern Sundarbans. In the last fifteen days since the operation began, a large amount of deer-catching traps and deer meat (venison) have been recovered from different places in the Sundarbans and 11 poachers have been arrested. The combing operation began on May 1 to prevent hunting of wild animals including deer in the Sundarbans. This operation will continue until May 31.
