Srinagar, April 17 -- Speaking at an Ambedkar Jayanti event organised by BJP at Dak Bungalow, Anantnag, Dr Andrabi said people continue to visit religious places peacefully. "There's no unrest or restriction on religious practices," she said.

She also defended the Waqf Board's recent initiatives, calling them focused and sincere, despite political criticism. "Some people are trying to divert attention, but the public trusts the Waqf Board's work," she added.

Referring to constitutional values, she credited Prime Minister Modi for reinforcing constitutional governance, saying, "Modiji introduced Samvidhan Divas and revitalized constitutional spirit in the country."
