Srinagar, March 12 -- Replying to the question of Congress MLA, Tariq Hameed Karra, the concerned minister said that funds to the tune of Rs 3500.00 lacs were provided annually under Special Area Development Programme in addressing the infrastructure deficit in Srinagar district, particularly in the sectors of Health Education, Public Health Engineering and road connectivity etc till 2019-20 as an additionality in addressing the infrastructure deficit in Srinagar district.
He said for FY 2021-22 and 2022-23 funds were provisioned under the scheme to meet out any pending liabilities projected by the districts.
