Srinagar, July 11 -- Reports said that parts of north and central Kashmir are experiencing massive gusty winds and heavy rains including parts of Baramulla, Kupwara, Srinagar and other parts.

Reports said that several cars were damaged after rooftops and electric poles collapsed in Qaziabad and Kralgund Market areas of Kupwara district. Multiple electric cables and rooftops were torn apart, leading to a complete power outage in the affected localities.

Director Meteorological Department, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, as per JKNS, said, "A spell of light to moderate rain/thunder is likely over many areas of Kashmir Division, Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban, Doda, Reasi, Udhampur, and parts of Jammu plains during the next 3-5 hours."
