India, Dec. 20 -- Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) in connection with a landslide incident at Khanpora in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, which has been linked to illegal stone quarrying activities in the area.
According to police, the landslide occurred on December 19, 2025, following unauthorised quarrying that led to a sudden slide of debris and earth. The incident posed a serious threat to human life and raised apprehensions of damage to both public and private property.
