Srinagar, July 30 -- Referring to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 26 civilians-mostly tourists-Shah said the responsibility was claimed by The Resistance Front (TRF). "Those behind the attack were tracked and eliminated in two operations -SindoorandMahadev," he said. "We shot them in the head," Shah added, dismissing any suggestion of leniency.

He said the terrorists were neutralised before they could cross over to Pakistan. "Forensic tests confirmed the rifles recovered from the slain terrorists matched the ones used in the attack. There is no debate now," he said.
