Srinagar, Nov. 22 -- The State Health Agency (SHA) of Jammu and Kashmir has processed over 54,000 cases across both private and public hospitals under the AB-PMJAY SEHAT scheme.
An official said that it was difficult for the dialysis center to run the scheme free of cost to the patient due to financial constraints. The SHA took the initiative to segregate such cases and give them priority.
An official said that the scheme has also seen a remarkable 15,000 dialysis cases processed since October, with claim submissions amounting to approximately Rs 10 crore.
This highlights the government's dedication to addressing the region's healthcare needs and ensuring timely access to vital medical treatments, he added.
