Srinagar, March 14 -- Experts have asked fitness enthusiasts to take extra caution during workouts in Ramadan.

From light workouts to consuming hydrating foods, fitness have come up with dos and don'ts for people during fasting.

They advised gym freaks to modify their exercise routines to achieve fitness goals during the holy month of Ramadan.

They essentially suggested that gym-goers should primarily avoid excessive strain while fasting. "Intense workouts should be avoided while fasting. The body is in a state of low energy because of low glucose levels. Straining the body while fasting can," said Ovais Ahmad Dar, a fitness expert.
