Jammu, March 12 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that he is committed to fulfilling all promises made by his party in the election manifesto, but added that he had never pledged that they will fulfill them in one budget.
Replying to a discussion on budget, the CM said they wanted to send out a message through this budget that they will fulfill all promises. "What is the fault if we have tried to reach out to the poorest of the poor?" CM Omar asked.
He reaffirmed his government's commitment to restoring dignity, empowerment, and self-reliance for the people. "Some may see these initiatives as mere drops in the ocean, but history has shown that even the mightiest oceans are formed by countless drops.
