In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai outlined key measures proposed in the Budget to enhance internal security, including steps specifically focused on J&K.
"The government plans to modernize law enforcement by integrating new criminal laws into a digital system, enhancing crime prevention, and improving criminal investigations. Also, mobile forensic labs will be deployed in every district, and state forensic labs will be modernized to strengthen evidence-based policing," the reply stated.
