Nigeria, April 11 -- The human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has urged Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, file a suit against the suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, over alleged defamation.
Falana made this known in a statement on Friday following a petition Akpabio submitted to the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, over comments made by Akpoti-Uduaghan at a rally in Kogi State on April 1, 2025.
It would be recalled that Akpabio had formally petitioned the police chief, seeking an investigation into an alleged assassination plot made against him by Akpoti-Uduaghan.
