Dhaka, May 6 -- A special court in Dhaka on Monday issued a travel ban against former chief of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal (retired) Sheikh Abdul Hannan, his wife Tahmida Begum, son Sheikh Labib Hannan and their relative Sanjida Akter in connection with corruption allegations.

Judge of the Senior Special Judge's Court in Dhaka, Md Jakir Hossain, passed the order, allowing a petition filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) seeking travel ban on them.

Earlier on the day, ACC Deputy Director (Enforcement) Md Tanjib Hasib Sarker submitted the petition before the court.
