Dhaka, July 13 -- Rangpur Civil Surgeon Dr Shahin Sultana has alleged that Anti-Discrimination Student Movement leader Imran Ahmed threatened her with mob action during a district law and order meeting on Sunday.

"We feel threatened. Our staff are scared," she was quoted by Bangla-language daily Prothom Alo as saying.

The dispute relates to an April incident in Taraganj, where a doctor was allegedly assaulted by members of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

A case was later filed against the accused, including Tahmid Sarkar, the local coordinator.
