Dhaka, May 9 -- Met office has forecast rains or thundershowers in Dhaka and seven other divisions of the country in 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am on Thursday.

"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places," said a Met office bulletin.

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, reports UNB citing the bulletin.
