Dhaka, March 19 -- The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), in collaboration with the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), launched a week-long introductory training programme on Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modeling in Delhi on Monday (March 17).
Supported by CGIAR, the programme aims to equip participants with hands-on experience using IFPRI's Standard CGE Model, enabling them to address critical policy questions in diverse economic contexts, said a IFPRI press release.
