Dhaka, May 10 -- In a vibrant and festive atmosphere across Narayanganj and Dhaka, the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) election concluded with a resounding victory for the Progressive Knit Alliance panel, led by Mohammad Hatem.
Out of 572 eligible voters, 431 cast their ballots, marking a turnout of 75.35%. The Progressive Knit Alliance panel clinched all 35 director positions, underscoring their widespread support within the knitwear industry, according to local media.
