Dhaka, March 6 -- Tailor's and fashion houses are now crowded with buyers in the port city as Eid ul-Fitr, the largest religious festival of Muslims, is set to be observed at the end of Ramadan .

Tailors have submerged themselves completely in work, as they are flooded with receiving order for making clothes. More than 6,000 tailors are working day and night in Kholipha Potty area while the number of tailor's in Chattogram is more than 12,000.

Nazneen Akter Rekha, a teacher at Govt. Hazi Muhammad Mohsin College, said, "We gave orders before Ramadan. Now, we are collecting our dresses from the tailor's at different shopping malls."
