Dhaka, March 13 -- Bangladesh Army sought prayers for the eight-year-old Magura rape victim as her condition remained critical after suffering four cardiac arrests on Wednesday.

"The child is undergoing treatment at the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of the Paediatric Department at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka. Necessary tests are being conducted daily as per standard ICU protocols, and the highest level of medical care is being provided," the Bangladesh Army posted on its official Facebook page at midnight on Wednesday.

According to the post, the child suffered four cardiac arrests on Wednesday and was stabilised through CPR, reports UNB.
