Dhaka, Feb. 1 -- Heavy fog has caused a six-way collision after vehicles veered out of control at a single intersection in Rangpur.
Though no deaths have been reported in the incident, some 25-30 people have been injured.
The accident occurred at the Garer Matha intersection on the Rangpur-Dhaka Highway in Mithapukur around 7:30 am on Saturday, according to Moniruzzaman, chief of the Baradargah Highway Police.
The vehicles involved in the accident were three buses, a truck, a pickup truck, and a covered van, reports bdnews24.com.
The vehicles, which had come from Dhaka, veered out of control due to the fog, said Moniruzzaman. This led to them all crashing into each other at the four-way intersection.
