One CRPF commando killed in IED blast in Chhattisgarh's Sukma

An assistant commandant was killed and 10 personnel of the CRPF's CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) unit were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, officials said on Sunday.
The incident took place around 9 pm on Saturday when a team of security forces were on an operation in a forest area when they stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device allegedly placed by Naxals.
Nitin Bhalerao was seriously injured and succumbed to his injuries suffered in the blast.
