Sri Lanka, Oct. 4 -- Two vastly experienced Sri Lanka women's cricketers, all rounder Shashikala Siriwardena and left hand top order batter Chamari Atapattu will play in the Indian Women's Premier League (IPL) tournament to be held next month in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The 35-year old former captain Siriwardena retired from international cricket after playing for nearly a decade while appearing in 81 T20Is.

The right hander has scored a total of 1097 runs at an average of 17.1 and while bowling her right arm off spin she claimed 77 wickets at an average of 20.8.

Meanwhile the 30 year-old Atapattu is the captain of the Sri Lankan women's team and the batting all-rounder has played in 85 T20Is thus far scoring a total of 1646 run...
