Srilanka, Dec. 7 -- The Government will not budge from its vision and plan for the country and will stick firmly to its economic growth targets despite all odds, said Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya last week, making a clarion call on all citizens to unite at a time the nation needs it most to rise up again.
Speaking during a fireside chat at the Sri Lanka Economic Summit organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the Premier recalled the trying times from which the nation emerged stronger proving that it is a country that will not succumb to shocks be it internal or external.
"We have proved that we are a resilient nation that can withstand challenges be it natural disasters, economic crises or otherwise," the Premier said.
