Jakarta, July 11 -- A Trilateral Meeting was convened today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, involving Malaysia, as the ASEAN Chair, Turkiye, and the ASEAN Secretariat. The Meeting was chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, The Honourable Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan and attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan, and Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn. The Meeting discussed the ASEAN-Turkiye Sectoral Dialogue Partnership, including progress in the implementation of the ASEAN-Turkiye Practical Cooperation Areas (2024-2028) and explored untapped opportunities to further strengthen collaboration between ASEAN and Turkiye.
