Jakarta, Dec. 22 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with H.E. Thongsavan Phomvihane, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on the sidelines of the Special ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting on the current situation between Cambodia and Thailand, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The meeting focused on ASEAN's collective efforts to promote de-escalation, dialogue, and the peaceful settlement of disputes
