Jakarta, July 9 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Sugiono, on the sidelines of the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting (AMM) and Related Meetings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Their discussion focused on ASEAN Community-building efforts, including the follow-up to the 46th ASEAN Summit as well as preparations for ASEAN Day on 8 August 2025, at the ASEAN Headquarters / ASEAN Secretariat. Dr. Kao thanked the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, as the host country, for consistently extending its support to the ASEAN Secretariat.
