Jakarta, Dec. 22 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Bendito dos Santos Freitas, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, on the sidelines of the Special ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting on the current situation between Cambodia and Thailand, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The meeting discussed recent regional developments and ASEAN's collective efforts to promote dialogue, restraint, and the peaceful resolution of disputes, in line with ASEAN principles.
