Jakarta, Sept. 4 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with H.E. Keiichiro Asao, Minister of Environment of Japan, on the sidelines of the 18th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment (AMME) in Langkawi, Malaysia. They explored avenues to enhance ASEAN-Japan cooperation, including through the implementation of the Strategic Program for ASEAN Climate and Space (SPACE) and by deepening joint efforts on climate action, tackling marine plastic pollution, and promoting the circular economy.
