Jakarta, Nov. 20 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today held a pull-asidemeeting with H.E. Mya Tun Oo, Union Minister of Transport andCommunications of Myanmar and Chair of the 31st ASEAN Transport Ministers'Meeting, in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. Dr. Kao expressed appreciation forMyanmar's active coordination with the Republic of Korea (ROK) on thenegotiations of ASEAN-ROK Air Services Agreement. He reaffirmed that theASEAN Secretariat stands ready to support Myanmar in preparing for theupcoming discussions and in advancing the Agreement toward its timelyconclusion.
