Jakarta, June 20 -- At the Opening Ceremony of the 21st ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Science, Technology and Innovation (AMMSTI-21) in Jakarta this morning, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, delivered Opening Remarks and officiated the Launch of the ASEAN Plan of Action on Science, Technology and Innovation (APASTI) 2026-2035, alongside other Ministers and representatives from ASEAN Member States. APASTI envisions "An integrated ASEAN powered by STI, fostering seamless collaboration, global competitiveness through enhanced innovative performance, sustainability and economic growth for a prosperous future."
